For this alpha, CamelSkins records your app sign-in reference, verified Steam IDs, display names, imported inventories, searchable Stash choices, Wishlist, trade link and offer/receipt history. Your selected searchable items, Wishlist and Steam display name are shown to participating traders. New Wishlist additions automatically appear as Wanted on the Trading Post. Previously unshared entries require a visibility choice; keeping them unshared leaves them off the Trading Post. Removing a saved wish withdraws its request. Share links display visible wanted skins and the Steam display name. Wanted previews also display the owner’s currently available trading Stash. Once external access is enabled, anyone with a share link may see that preview. Preview selections are stored temporarily in the visitor’s browser through sign-in. Private proposals, items not selected for sharing, account settings, feedback and admin records are protected.
Steam-only sign-in creates a secure, HttpOnly login cookie that expires after seven days. The server stores a hash of its random token, not the usable login token. This app login is separate from the optional Steam trading connection.
Steam session access is encrypted at rest using a server secret. Session tokens and cookies are not sent to other users or included in feedback context. Disconnecting removes the stored session; revoke it through Steam as well if required.
Trade notifications store offer events and read state. If you choose email alerts, we store your email address, verification status and trade-alert preferences. These do not subscribe you to product announcements. When enabled, Resend processes verification emails and trade alerts; email delivery records store provider acceptance or request failures. Email addresses are not included in public listings.
Feedback includes your signed-in reference, page, app version and timestamp. Referral links record basic attribution, without reward credits. Daily page-view totals help us measure site usage. They store the page category, day and count, without visitor IDs or tracking cookies. Basic activity and error records help test reliability; error records omit request bodies and sensitive URL parameters.
Data is hosted through ChatGPT Sites with persistent server storage. Steam and price-data providers receive the requests necessary for their features. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.
Use private feedback to request help, access, correction or deletion of test data. We may need to retain limited trade/audit records to investigate a dispute. You can contact support@camelskins.com for help, access, correction or deletion requests. We verify the requesting Steam account before disclosing or changing private records.
We keep account and trade records while needed to operate this alpha, resolve trades and investigate reported problems. Ask support about deletion or retention of your records. A documented retention schedule and the applicable privacy-rights information remain launch review items; this notice is not a completed legal review.
