How to find your Steam trade URL

Find it on Steam

1. Sign into the Steam account whose skins you want to swap.
2. Open your Inventory, then Trade Offers.
3. Choose Who can send me Trade Offers?
4. Find Third-Party Sites near the bottom and copy the complete Trade URL.

Open your trade URL page on Steam

The link opens Steam’s page for the currently signed-in account. Check the account before copying. Valve’s trade offer instructions.

Save it in CamelSkins

1. Sign in to CamelSkins with the same Steam account.
2. Open Account setup and find the Steam trade link field.
3. Paste the whole URL and save it. CamelSkins checks that it belongs to the selected account.
4. If you arrived from a swap, return to that offer and review both sides.

A typical address starts with https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/ and includes partner and token parameters. Copy it from Steam; do not construct it yourself or use another player’s link.

Common problems

“This link belongs to another account”

Steam and CamelSkins may be signed into different accounts. Check both and copy the correct link.

The link no longer works

If you created a new URL on Steam, update the saved link in CamelSkins. The old token is no longer the one to use.

My inventory will not load

Your trade URL does not make your inventory public. Check Steam’s inventory privacy settings separately.

A trade is restricted or held

A correct URL does not remove Steam Guard, trade holds or item restrictions. Read the message Steam shows.

Keep the link out of public posts

A trade URL is not your Steam password, but anyone with it can attempt to send an offer. Share it only where needed; avoid posting screenshots showing its token. You can generate a new URL on the same Steam page if necessary, then update CamelSkins.

Nobody can use a trade URL alone to approve an exchange for you. Still check the actual recipient and items before accepting or confirming any offer.
