How to swap CS2 skins on CamelSkins
Find skins you want. Offer skins you have.
CamelSkins helps players arrange skin-for-skin swaps. Browse the Trading Post, propose a trade and agree both sides before completing it through Steam. The alpha is free; no cash checkout or paid credits are enabled.
1. Sign in and choose your Stash
Sign in with the Steam account whose skins you want to trade. Your CS2 inventory needs to be public so CamelSkins can load it. In Your Stash, select the tradable items you are willing to make searchable. This does not send them anywhere.
Add your Steam trade URL in Account setup when requested. Find your Steam trade URL.
2. Tell people what you want
Add skins to your Wishlist, choosing the correct wear and variant. New Wishlist entries appear as Wanted listings on the Trading Post. Remove a saved wish to withdraw its request. Understand CS2 wear before choosing.
3. Explore the Trading Post or Matches
Wanted listings show what someone is looking for. To respond, you need an eligible copy of the requested skin, wear and variant.
Open to offers listings show skins someone is willing to swap. You can propose your own skins without a mutual Wishlist match. Use Create listing to publish one or several items; review whether they can be requested individually or must stay together as a bundle.
Matches helps find traders whose choices fit yours. No matches yet? Try the Trading Post or revisit the items you have shared.
4. Propose and agree both sides
Review You give and You receive, including extras. Send the offer only when it represents the swap you want. The other trader can accept, decline or counter with a different combination; revised offers need fresh agreement.
Value estimates are guides, not guaranteed cash prices. You decide whether the actual items make the swap worthwhile. Drafts do not reserve skins; active offers can prevent the same items being committed elsewhere.
5. Review the exact trade on Steam
Once you agree, follow the offer’s Steam action. If you use CamelSkins’ optional trading connection, explicitly approve creating the agreed Steam offer. Check the recipient and every item again on Steam. Complete any Steam Guard confirmations yourself; the recipient must review and accept the Steam offer.
Agreeing on CamelSkins, opening Steam or clicking a button is not proof that the items have moved. Read the safety checklist before confirming.
6. Check the receipt and protection period
CamelSkins records delivery evidence and final settlement separately. If a check is delayed, use the status shown in the offer and check Steam’s trade history. Never send a second trade just because a page has not refreshed.
Steam currently applies seven days of trade protection to CS2 items received in trade. Delivery is therefore not the same as final settlement. Valve’s trade protection guidance.
